How did you get into Industrial Design?
As a kid I loved drawing guns, cars, fighter jets and tanks. In high school I wanted to design for the military but as I did more research I found out the numerous possibilities and freedom that Industrial Design offered and decided to design some products.
How would you describe your design style?
I think it all depends on the product and the uses of it. My design style adapts to anything new that gets thrown at me so I’d say my style is constantly evolving and adapting to new trends and needs.
What was your first cell phone?
Believe it or not, I got my first cell phone when I was 19, It was a Motorola Razor.
What type of cell phone do you own now – do you like it?
My phone is epitome of basic – its a Kyocera – it doesn’t even have a camera! It’s sole purpose in my life is simply to make phone calls. The user interface is just logical and even if it’s not considered a rugged phone TRUST ME – it is!
Name the strangest place you’ve left your phone?
I’ll admit it… I’ve left my phone in the freezer when I went to get some ice cream! Ironically enough… the phone still worked afterwards! I told you it was rugged!
What are your guilty pleasures?
Heavy Metal Music, Guitars, Motorcycles, ATV’s, Tactical Gear, Cars – Especially Imports
What do you like to do when you’re not working at AGF?
Although I’m not at work – I am constantly designing, even when I’m sleeping. I also enjoy working out, playing guitar, driving fast and spending time at the beach.
